Blank Space is a monthly series of completely improvised musical experiments/ collaborations.

Our core group of singers has been improvising together for years and decided to host this series as a way to share and get feedback about our process. How to take the risks that improvisation requires and yet stay connected and centred and real? How to truly respond to what is happening in the moment and make music at the same time? There is no real plan or safety net– we are making it up as we go. It could be magical or it could be messy!

We work with spontaneous composition, improvised words, movement, humour! Each month we invite a guest artist to improvise with us in the second half. There are also opportunities for the audience to participate.
